Walton Park Motor Lodge is located in the town of Warkworth, approximately 45 min north of Auckland central business district and approximately 1 hour from Auckland International Airport.

Walton Park Motor Lodge is only 10 minutes from Matakana village and the popular weekly Farmers Market and Matakana Country Park full of arts and crafts, food and drink from the area, animals, and children’s playground.

Matakana Coast offers a fine range of wineries Ascension, Brick Bay, Mahurangi River, Herons Flight, OBV, and Ransom where you can indulge in wine tasting. Another must is the Brick Bay sculpture Trail at Snells Beach and Zealandia Sculpture Garden at Warkworth by NZ Sculptor Terry Stringer.

Catch a ferry from Sandspit Wharf to Kawau Island and visit The Mansion House, built by Sir George Grey 150 years ago, an early Governor of NZ. Then spend the day walking and enjoying the beautiful scenery around Kawau Island.

We have some wonderful Regional Parks, Sacndretts, Mahurangi and Tawharanui the wild life sanctuary and swimming heaven good for surfing. Go Horse Riding at Pakiri along the deserted beach and sand dunes.
